Ep 002 Molly’s Game

MollysGamePodcastSquare.png

Join Trailer Junkies, Jim and Ted, as they discuss Aaron Sorkin’s latest movie’s trailer, Molly’s Game. They examine Jessica Chastain and Idris Elba’s trailer chemistry and weave through Sorkin’s greatest hits including A Few Good Men, The Social Network, The West Wing and The Newsroom. Jim and Ted trade dueling jokes ranging from iconic Jack Nicholson speeches and Tom Cruise pop culture status. All the while, judging the marketer's use of Olympic-sized trailer tropes and whether they stuck the landing as successfully as Molly Bloom, herself. While Ted and Jim will probably see the movie, Jim will DEFINITELY buy the book.

MOLLY'S GAME is based on the true story of Molly Bloom, an Olympic-class skier who ran the world's most exclusive high-stakes poker game for a decade before being arrested in the middle of the night by 17 FBI agents wielding automatic weapons.
