Trailer Junkies Podcast (TJP) is where Jim and Ted discuss movie and TV trailers, and the consumer-facing part of media marketing.  They use Ted’s industry knowledge, Jim’s common sense, and their wit to break down movie marketing using trailers as their vehicle.

Jim and Ted have been buddies for more than a decade, and together they have attempted a number of startup and entrepreneurial endeavors.  A regular Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton get rich quick duo.  None have panned out, but they do enjoy talking, so what's better to talk about than movie trailers... or are they previews?

Ted works in marketing for the entertainment industry in sunny Los Angeles. With a BA in Film and Television, certificates in film production and a Masters in Marketing he is more than qualified to make a fool of himself in a podcast.

He lives in short-form content for all ages and all quadrants. You’ll hear his daughter, Audrey (2006) and son, Bryce (2009) doing commercials. The wife is not fully convinced about the whole endeavor but if BlueNile or Michael Kors wants to advertise Ted's sure he could get her on the pod.

Jim works as a psychologist in a public high school on California's central coast.  He had a few film classes in college and likes watching movies (or films if you're a snob), but he really enjoys long-form content such as Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and The Walking Dead.

Long-form content is one reason why Jim enjoys watching trailers.  They're only two minutes in length getting him back to the long-form that he enjoys.  He also has two young boys who keep him busy, so going to the movies doesn't happen all that often.
