This week Jim & Ted are back to their typical show. Not sure what happened last week, or why the Lady Junkies took over their mics. Perhaps it was an April Fools joke or something. Can you ever forgive us? There are three trailers this week, TAG, The House of Tomorrow, and The House with a Clock in its Walls. Enjoy the show.
Jim asked the question, why are they called trailers when they come before the movie? Here's the quick answer. Way back when, trailers came at the end of the movie, but that was a bad marketing move since most people left the theater during the credits. As a result, theaters moved the trailers to the beginning and began calling them Previews or Coming Attractions, but the term Trailer stuck. So there you have it. Now Jim knows the answer... and so do you.
Tag - you're it. Like Deadpool even R-rated comedies are getting into shooting additional content specifically for trailers. Release date - June 15, 2018.
This week Ted's selection of trailers has a homey theme. What makes a house a home? Will this trailer help Ted figure out how to start the renovation on his master suite? Release date - April 27, 2018.
The Hose with a Clock in Its Walls is an odd title that the trailer spoils. You'll have to watch and see. Better yet, listen to this week's episode. Release date September 21, 2018.
